Shipping policy

1. Shipping Locations

The Aquatic Store currently ships within the Republic of South Africa.

We do not offer international shipping at this time unless otherwise stated.

2. Order Processing Time

Orders are processed within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation.

Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.

Please note that during promotional periods or high order volumes, processing times may be slightly extended.

3. Delivery Timeframes

Estimated delivery times:

  • Major cities: 1–3 business days

  • Regional / outlying areas: 2–5 business days

Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on the courier service, weather conditions, or unforeseen delays.

4. Shipping Fees

Shipping fees are calculated at checkout and displayed before payment is completed.

Free shipping promotions (if applicable) will be clearly indicated on the website.

5. Order Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, a tracking number will be sent via email or SMS where applicable.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the correct delivery address and contact details are provided at checkout.

6. Failed Deliveries

If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful due to:

  • Incorrect address provided

  • No one available to receive the parcel

  • Failure to respond to courier contact attempts

The customer may be responsible for redelivery fees.

7. Damaged Parcels

Customers must inspect parcels upon delivery.

If the package appears damaged:

  • Note the damage with the courier upon receipt, or

  • Notify us within 24 hours of delivery

  • Provide clear photographs of the packaging and contents

Failure to report damage within a reasonable time may affect claims.

8. Risk & Ownership

Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon delivery to the provided address.

Ownership of the goods remains with The Aquatic Store until full payment has been received.

9. Delays Beyond Our Control

The Aquatic Store shall not be held liable for delays caused by:

  • Courier disruptions

  • Weather conditions

  • Strikes

  • Public holidays

  • Supplier stock delays

We will, however, communicate any significant delays as soon as reasonably possible
